Malibu surf happens at many spots along the city’s 27 mile coastline, yet it’s fame began and stays with Surfrider Beach, three point breaks with a perfect right wave (and ridiculous crowds).

Malibu Surf Spots
Latigo Point – (wannaSurf) Rarely breaks unless a decent sized swell. Will break bigger than Malibu usually. Good longboarding.
Point Dume – (MagicSeaweed) Fickle sandbar peaks boasting heavy tubes with the correct swell. Hard-hitting. Not for beginners.
Surfrider Beach – (SoCalForecast) One of SoCal’s best (and most crowded) waves…usually broken up into 3 sections.
Topanga Point – (SURF-forecast.com) An exposed point break that has very consistent surf and works all around the year.
Zuma Beach – (MagicSeaweed) Wide, sandy beach with various sandbar peaks; often very hollow and always powerful.
